Who We Are Palaestra, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1994 to provide home education families with quality enrichment classes at an affordable rate. Classes are held on Fridays at His Church Anglican, 34500 Six Mile Rd., in Livonia. Palaestra is a decidedly Christian organization. Biblical standards for life and conduct are encouraged. The Palaestra Board of Directors seeks to maintain a Christ honoring atmosphere, and strives to adhere to a biblical standard of ethics in business. Snow Days Should we decide to cancel classes due to snow, it will be announced on the local television stations. It will also be announced by the scrolling marquee on the website. |

| Emily Levickas | ||
Emily is a part-time Lecturer for the Eastern Michigan University Theatre Department where she also received her MFA in Applied Drama and Theatre for the Young. For the last two years she was the Staff Director of Theatre at Concordia University where she recently directed productions of The Glass Menagerie and Alice in Wonder. She has also directed productions at Spring Arbor University including The Diviners and performed her one-woman show “Homestays” at the SAU homecoming fall, 2010. Emily has lead several theatre programs for youth at Wild Swan Theatre in Ann Arbor and Saltworks theatre in Pittsburgh, PA. She also founded youth summer programs at Spring Arbor and Trinity House Theatre. |
