Who We Are
Palaestra is a non-profit organization dedicated to quality education for home schooled children. We provide a variety of supplemental classes that are designed to enrich the learning experience of our member families.

Handouts/Flyers/Sales
Any information to be handed out or posted MUST be approved by the Palaestra Board. Any items to be sold at Palaestra must also be approved by the Palaestra Board.

SNOW DAYS
Channel 4 announces our closing and it will be posted on the website by 7:30am. If possible, we will reschedule the snow-day at the end of the session. Due to the fact weather cancellations are out of our control, we are not able to issue refunds for said days.

Parent/Student Agreement and Waiver: By joining Palaestra I hereby agree to the following: PARENT AGREEMENT Parents are required to be on the premises the entire length of time during which your child is in class. If for some reason you must leave, you are required to sign the Parent Sign Out sheet at the front table with a contact number and the name of a temporary guardian. The temporary guardian must be on the premises and will be responsible for your child in the case of an emergency. Any child who is on the premises during Palaestra hours must be in a classroom or in the presence of a parent/guardian. Palaestra is not responsible for your child�s attendance or timely arrival to class. Palaestra is unable to monitor your child�s whereabouts at all times; this is the responsibility of the parent(s). Children who are able to drive are required to be in a class or in an approved area. Parents assume full responsibility for child�s (children�s) conduct. A phone number where the parent can be reached must be provided during the registration process. Parents are solely responsible for the health and safety of their children and will not hold Palaestra or Trinity Church liable for any injuries sustained on Palaestra rental property. Parents assume any and all responsibility for damages done to Palaestra property or Trinity Church property by their children. STUDENT AGREEMENT Students are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and thoughtful manner towards their teachers, other students, and church property. There is NO running or rough play in or around the building. Students should dress modestly (e.g. no midriff or underclothes showing). Palaestra reserves the right to set the dress and behavior standards. PAYMENT AND FEES There is a non-refundable registration fee of $10.00 per session. Finalizing registration is a commitment to pay in full all class fees and material fees for the entire session. Payment may be made in full or in three installments; one third at registration and a third on weeks 6 and 12. All classes have a minimum/maximum enrollment requirement. Palaestra reserves the right to cancel, combine or make other revisions as necessary. Parents/Students will be notified of any changes before classes begin. REFUNDS Please refer to the HOME PAGE for the last day to drop a class(es) for a full refund. After the specified date, Palaestra is unable to issue a full refund. At this time all our decisions are made to cancel or run the class. Teachers have been notified, supplies purchased and the budget set. Therefore, any request for a refund must be made in writing and is subject to Board review and IF approved, only a partial refund will be awarded. If Palaestra cancels a class due to lack of enrollment, refunds are paid in full.
