| | This is a 45/50 minute class PLEASE NOTE: Keeping in mind the attention span at this age level, we will try to cover a range of skills practice each week. We will spend time with letters, numbers, days of the week, months of the year (with seasonal activities) and songs. We will also focus on number games, telling time accurately and crafts that will reinforce these skills.
While this school year will be challenging, please note our classroom will be an open door for all parents to peek in on your little ones from time to time. The enjoyment will truly come from learning from these bright minds that have been fearfully and wonderfully made by the God of all Creation, while they embark upon a new journey and demonstrating their gifts as they grow. | | Hello Parents and students. My name is Ms. Lazenby and I am feeling very blessed to be with you this school year. I am a mother of six beautiful children, a grandmom of 10, and a great-grandmom of 4.
My greatest enjoyment in life has been parenting, so I am going to enjoy having the pleasure of educating your lovely children. I obtained my Dental Assisting - Dental Instructing experience from Wayne Community College. My experience with other children was through operating my own Childcare for over 13 years, 9 of which were in Anchorage Alaska. The age group was from birth - 12 years, with teaching emphasis on numbers and letter recognition. I am excited to share the knowledge and skills I have gained.
Delorean Brumfield will be co-teaching with me this year. She brings her tutoring experience and love of math, science and literature. We are both looking forward to this opportunity.
