Fun With Math

I want your kiddos to love math and have fun learning!

In this year-long class, we will play fun math games and activities along with having structured instruction and student worksheets to enhance learning.

First semester will introduce or reinforce math concepts such as addition/subtraction of multiple-digit numbers, single-digit multiplication/division, place value, solving word problems, fractions, decimals, and rounding numbers.

Second semester will build on these concepts, and continue on to multiple-digit multiplication/division.

Instructor Bio:

Hello Parents and students. My name is Ms. Lazenby and I am feeling very blessed to be with you this school year. I am a mother of six beautiful children, a grandmom of 10, and a great-grandmom of 4. My greatest enjoyment in life has been parenting, so I am going to enjoy having the pleasure of educating your lovely children. I obtained my Dental Assisting - Dental Instructing experience from Wayne Community College. My experience with other children was through operating my own Childcare for over 13 years, 9 of which were in Anchorage Alaska. The age group was from birth - 12 years, with teaching emphasis on numbers and letter recognition. I am excited to share the knowledge and skills I have gained.

Delorean Brumfield will be co-teaching with me this year. She brings her tutoring experience and love of math, science and literature. We are both looking forward to this opportunity. GET READY TO LEARN AND SHARE! MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
