In this class, students will learn how to use various watercolor techniques as well as learning about composition.  They will create representational images by using a basic, controlled technique as well as abstract/free-flowing pieces in which they will be encouraged to experiment with the medium.

  Instructor Bio:
  Sophia Pomponio recently graduated with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree from Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She majored in illustration, and she plans to pursue a career as freelance and children’s book illustrator. As a student, she attended Palaestra for many years and throughout her college career has taught classes there as well. She is very excited to continue to teach there and share her love of art with the students.
