Who We Are Palaestra, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1994 to provide home education families with quality enrichment classes at an affordable rate. Classes are held on Fridays at His Church Anglican, 34500 Six Mile Rd., in Livonia. Palaestra is a decidedly Christian organization. Biblical standards for life and conduct are encouraged. The Palaestra Board of Directors seeks to maintain a Christ honoring atmosphere, and strives to adhere to a biblical standard of ethics in business. Snow Days Should we decide to cancel classes due to snow, it will be announced on the local television stations. It will also be announced by the scrolling marquee on the website. |

| Meghan Farrell-Hicks | ||
Ms. Meghan has been teaching Dance coming up on 17 years now; her ‘Dance Journey’ started when she was 4 years old, and she’s been in love with Dance ever since. Tap is her main genre with styles such as Soft Shoe, Rhythm, Freestyle, and Jazz-based Broadway being the foundation of her training. Meghan also has an extensive background in Youth Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Youth Hip Hop, and Musical Theater & Performing Arts Workshops. She is a Choreographer for high school productions, Praise Dance performances, flash mobs, and weddings. Meghan owns her own company; MFH Dance Training LLC, where she provides in-home training for all ages & incomes. She also teaches for the Redford Community Center’s Adult Dance Program. Meghan is super excited to share her love for Dance with all her new students! |
