Who We Are Palaestra, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1994 to provide home education families with quality enrichment classes at an affordable rate. Classes are held on Fridays at His Church Anglican, 34500 Six Mile Rd., in Livonia. Palaestra is a decidedly Christian organization. Biblical standards for life and conduct are encouraged. The Palaestra Board of Directors seeks to maintain a Christ honoring atmosphere, and strives to adhere to a biblical standard of ethics in business. Snow Days Should we decide to cancel classes due to snow, it will be announced on the local television stations. It will also be announced by the scrolling marquee on the website. |

| Marlika Davis | ||
Mrs. Marlika Davis, a home-educator, is blessed with the talent of working with children of diverse ages and abilities. She loves the challenge of working with students, especially those with special needs. Davis personally motivates students, to let them know they are unique, and all children are capable of greatness. She has been a member of the Palaetra family for three years, and has joined the staff to continue to share her crafty and creative teaching style to the organization. She is a talented and blessed home-educator, and loves teaching and sharing her knowledge. She is very excited about joining the Palaestra staff. She is married to Bennett Davis, Sr., and she is the proud mother of three home-schooled sons (Bennett, II ., Malik, and Jaeden). |
